Octoberama is over and we're back to normal (eh...) with episode 72. In today's Real World Horror, we talk about an NBA player who was flagrantly fouled  by a ghost. In Horror Business, we give you the latest on Friday the 13th, tell you about the newest installments in the Cloverfield and Sharknado franchises, a "spiritual successor" to a 90s classic, and a graphic novel based on the Hellraiser series.

Octoberama 2016, Vol. 4: WNUF Halloween Special/The Pumpkin Karver

Happy, happy Halloween! We close out 2016's Octoberama with our fourth annual Halloween special.
To kick things off, we announce the winner of our free t-shirt raffle and tell ghost stories from our experiences at the Stanley Hotel and Queen Mary. We also do a little bitch-and-moan session about Friday the 13th and Godzilla.
Then we jump into Horror Business, where we tell a Real World Horror story from Sacramento about a lady taking her skull for a walk. We give you updates on The Walking Dead, Gerald's Game, and The Wolf Man, plus a new MTV show and the latest on the Friday the 13th video game.
For our reviews, we offer up two Halloween films. First, we discuss The Pumpkin Karver, about a town called Carver and a guy who is a carver and he carves stuff and carving and Dana Carvey and... sorry, I blacked out. Then we bust out the VCR so we can watch the VHS tape of the WNUF Halloween Special.
So throw a sheet over your head, grab a plastic pumpkin bucket, and let's go trick-or-treating.

Octoberama 2016, Vol. 3: The Omen/The Exorcist III

Most part threes suck. But here's hoping that part three of Octoberama 2016 is more Dream Warriors than Ghoulies Go to College. Or at least better than part two.
Speaking of part threes, today we're going to talk The Exorcist III because this is the inaugural Week of the Devil. Of course, how can you have Week of the Devil without talking about the son of the devil? We discuss Damien Thorne when we review the 1976 classic The Omen.
So you better grab your crucifix and say your prayers as hard as you can, because shit's gonna get dark.

Octoberama 2016, Vol. 2: Juan of the Dead/The Dead Next Door

Much like a zombie, Octoberama will not stay dead! We roll on with our Week of the Zombie episode and third anniversary.
This one kind of went off the rails, with Tony still recovering from his vacation and Taylor slightly hungover from the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival. We power through Horror Business, including stories on Bigfoot, remake news on Suspiria and Halloween, updates on the Purge franchise, and a couple of new TV shows. Then we completely lose it and give up.
Things pick up slightly in our reviews, as we rise from the dead like the zombies in the films. Yes, I know I already used that euphemism, it's just that kind of day. First up, we discuss the 1989 low budget schlock fest that is The Dead Next Door. Next up, Tony bitches about subtitles as we review the Cuban political horror comedy Juan de los Muertos. Then we mercifully put a bullet in this one's head because it is DONE. (Note: Our closing song is Zombie Jamboree because it drives Taylor insane. -Tony)

Episode 71 - Don't Breathe/Morgan

We're about that action, boss. Today's action includes a Real World Horror story that makes Taylor's skin crawl. We also discuss interactive haunted attractions, including one from Saw II writer/director Darren Lynn Bousman. From there, we go on to talk about new Toxic Avenger and Re-Animator movies, as well as a couple of new films coming to Netflix. One is a Stephen King adaptation from the writer/director of Hush and one is a horror/comedy from the maker of Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. We're thankful.
For our reviews, we evaluate the good, bad, and ugly of the films Don't Breathe and Morgan. One is getting rave reviews and one is getting trashed. Our opinions are often fairly contradictory to the masses, tune in to find out if today is any different. Thanks for asking.
There's also a bit of a discussion on gun control, so... prepare yourself for that. We're just here so we don't get fined.

Episode 70 - Blair Witch/31

Hey there boys and girls. Fear not (that's a weird thing for a horror show to say) because a brand new episode of the Grave Plot Podcast is here to answer all of your probing questions.
What do you do if you believe a loved one is possessed? Real World Horror has your answer. What's the status of Stranger Things season 2? Horror Business is your place to find out. Well, what about that Tremors show, is that still happening? We know that as well. Any other horror-themed TV shows coming up? We know of at least one. Episode 69 - I Am Not a Serial Killer/Sheep Skin

How YOU doin? It's episode 69 (he he he) of the Grave Plot Podcast!
In today's Real World Horror, we tell you why you shouldn't fuck with flakka. In Horror Business, we discuss Jason Voorhees going to court and Beetlejuice going to Broadway. Do you like sequels? How about a sequel to Sleepaway Camp? Are remakes more your thing? We discuss a potential remake to An American Werewolf in London. If you instead prefer TV adaptations, you'll be happy to hear about the upcoming small screen version of The Lost Boys.
We then go on to review the punk rock thriller Sheep Skin, and talk about werewolves and dick punching. Our second review is the film adaptation of the Dan Wells novel I Am Not a Serial Killer, where we talk Christopher Lloyd, panda masks, and have a serious(ish) discussion on sociopathy.

Helllllloooo Saint Louiiiiiiiis! And... you know... the rest of you. Today, for the first time ever, we did a Horror Business story before Horror Business even started! Don't get excited, we just turned what we thought was a throwaway story into a 20 minute rant about Ghostbusters. So... enjoy that. In the "real" Horror Business, we discuss a creepy clown stalking cheeseheads in Real World Horror, plus updates on a slew of remakes. Namely Friday the 13th, The Crow, It, and even Plan 9 From Outer Space. For our reviews, we discuss the latest from writer/director Joe Begos, The Mind's Eye, a sci-fi horror about psychokinetics. We also talk about The Funhouse Massacre, about a B-rate Suicide Squad who decide to break out of prison and start their own amusement park. Or something. We also discuss the latest news on Beetlejuice 2 and a remake of Pumpkinhead. In addition, we reveal the possible theme for season six of American Horror Story and a comic based on the music of Slayer. There are also unrelated tangents about Stranger Things and Pokemon-themed butt plugs. We go on to review the directorial debut of scream queen Debbie Rochon, the low budget film Model Hunger. For our second review, we discuss Nina Forever, the British story of an undead ex-girlfriend who won't let her former lover move on. So let us crawl into your ears and lay our eggs in your brain.
