Wednesday Dec 23, 2015
Merry Christmas, bitches! It's time once again to unwrap another brand new episode of The Grave Plot Podcast and our favorite bearded man is in the house. No, not Santa Claus, it's Wrestling With Subtitles' Max Zaleski! Under that dead corpse of a Douglas fir you have in your living room you'll find a big ol' box of Horror Business, including a real world horror story about millions of spiders coming home for the holidays. We also discuss a new horror movie streaming service, a new take on an old classic, some book adaptations coming to the small screen, and an exciting upcoming sequel. We have another special guest as well, as we got a chance to talk to Todd Nunes, the writer and director of the indie yuletide slasher All Through the House. Todd gives us a history of his interest in film and horror, including a "Friday the 13th" play. He also tells us all about the production of All Through the House, which, by the way, we reviewed! Hear all our thoughts on that film as well as the latest from Trick 'r Treat director Michael Dougherty, Krampus. He conquered Halloween and now looks to do the same with Christmas. So let's do this. Enjoy the latest episode of The Grave Plot Podcast and happy holidays!

Wednesday Dec 09, 2015
Wednesday Dec 09, 2015
We made it folks. Fifty episodes. When we started this adventure over two years ago, we set this as a benchmark for ourselves. We're very proud to have made it and show no signs of slowing down now. In this historic episode, we have a handful of Horror Business, including a real world story about ghost ships, a Haunted Mansion comic, the latest from John Carpenter, and new TV shows based on vampires and graboids. We also have updates on a new Gremlins movie, the Prometheus sequels, and reboots of The Crow and Friday the 13th. For our movie reviews, we discuss Tara Subkoff's #Horror (yes, pronounced "hashtag horror"), about cyber bullying and little girls and Farmville. Or something. We also review the latest take on a classic, Victor Frankenstein. This isn't your typical mad scientist movie. If you take nothing else away from this episode, you will at least learn what a Swedish periscope is. Here's to the next 50.

Wednesday Nov 25, 2015
Wednesday Nov 25, 2015
Hello again friends. On this episode of The Grave Plot Podcast, we discuss the Paranormal Activity series, the death of Pazuzu, and a new horror comic. Speaking of comics, we also discuss TV adaptations of several books, both comic and novel. Other topics include a summer camp anthology, a short film adaptation, a long overdue sequel and a completely unnecessary remake. Plus, top hats. We got a chance to talk to "the Banksy of horror," film critic and storyteller Bleeding Critic. Bleeding discusses his favorite horror movies, his custom mask, and his website, www.bleedingcritic.com. It's a site where fans have a voice so make sure you check it out. In our reviews, we discuss the latest from Eli Roth, Knock Knock. It's a home invasion thriller about two beautiful women seducing and torturing the guy from Wyld Stallynz. Our second review is the meta horror-comedy slasher The Final Girls. Is it worth watching from a horror perspective? You'll have to listen to find out.

Octoberama 2015, Vol. 4: Hellions/Tales of Halloween/Casey Ruggieri
Wednesday Oct 28, 2015
Wednesday Oct 28, 2015
Octoberama 2015 comes to a close with our annual Halloween special. We kick off Horror Business with a real world horror story that may be the beginning of the end for life on Earth. How's that for a hook? We then move on to discuss the new Friday the 13th video game, and not one, not two, but THREE different comic books being adapted for the screen. We go on to talk about Shout! Factory's plan to make original content and have some bad news for fans of reboots. Do those exist? We then go on to talk to Casey Ruggieri, one of the stars of the new horror anthology Tales of Halloween. Casey talks about about her interest in horror, tells some on-set stories, and gives us some hints about what her future holds. Speaking of Tales of Halloween, it's one of our reviews this episode! That makes sense, right? Halloween episode, Tales of Halloween, you get the idea. But wait, there's more! There's another new Halloween themed movie out called Hellions and we go on to review that one as well. Before we take off into the night, Man Crates, the creators of awesome gifts for men that come in a big crate you have to open with a crowbar, asked us this question: what would we need in a crate to last a whole horror movie? We relay some of the best answers from listeners and give our own answers as well. We then close things out with a festive round of Plot Holes before heading off to our annual Halloween party. So put this audio candy in your pumpkin bucket and enjoy. Happy Halloween!

Finally, we have a mini-review of the new short film from former guests LuchaGore Productions, "Madre De Dios," starring another former guest Tristan Risk. So grab something sharp and get ready to chase down some half naked campers with The Grave Plot Podcast.

Before we jump into the reviews, we spoke to Fright Rags founder Ben Scrivens. Fright Rags is a horror t-shirt company with some of the most awesome designs around. Listen to the interview and hear all about how the company came to be. Finally, we revive the rotting corpses of a couple undead flicks. We reviewed The Dead last year, and now we continue the franchise by reviewing The Dead 2: India. We also reviewed the 80s horror comedy The Return of the Living Dead from John Russo. Episode 46 - Bloodsucking Bastards/Sinister 2
Wednesday Sep 16, 2015
Wednesday Sep 16, 2015
Strap in and get ready for another long one (that's what he said?).Taylor was absent for this episode. So in his stead, Tony's dad, John, returns to the show for the first time since Episode 16! As you might remember from that one, John has a lot to say, so we have a lengthy episode for you again. They stayed... mostly on topic. We start off with a fresh batch of Horror Business. In Real World Horror, tragedy strikes the horror world with the death of a legend, and a nutcase forces children to watch a movie about a nutcase. A surprising (see: disappointing) bit of casting news from the Ghostbusters set is explained. We cover sequel and remake news with updates on Trick 'r Treat 2, Jeepers Creepers 3, the Waxwork remake, and the former director of the IT adaptation speaks out.In typical Grave Plot fashion, we review two movies. First up is the sequel to the hugely popular film, Sinister. Aptly named... wait for it... Sinister 2. Does it live up to its predecessor? Next, we talk about the horror-comedy vamp flick, Bloodsucking Bastards. Did we laugh, or did we think it just sucked? (See what I did there?)Gather 'round, criss-cross applesauce, and hear all this and more on this exciting episode of The Grave Plot Podcast!P.S. Lately, it seems, it wouldn't be a GPP episode if there weren't some technical issues, so we apologize for the intermittent static. It cuts out about an hour or so in.
