Episode 242 - The Watchers/Hell Hole

We're back again with a brand new episode, featuring twists and turns to make your head spin. First up is Real World Horror, where we examine a British man who encountered one of the infamous Black Eyed Kids while walking his dog. In Horror Business, we discuss a couple of new releases, namely Nick Frost's slasher-comedy Get Away, the new sequel/reboot/something-or-other Wolf Creek: Legacy, and The First Exorcist, which is NOT a movie based in The Exorcist universe. We also examine a potential Halloween prequel series and head to Kansas City to kick off the spooky season with a haunt from a famous horror director.
For our film reviews, we first travel to the forests of Ireland to watch and be watched with the directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan, The Watchers. We then strap on our hard hats and proceed to a Serbian fracking site to dig up Hell Hole.

Whether it's the vast emptiness of the great outdoors or the great beyond of outer space, we're ready to dance off with our pants off in a brand new episode.
Before we head into the void, we must take care of some Horror Business. In Real World Horror, we talk about a ghost from the real-life Conjuring house who just can't keep his damn mouth shut. We then discuss a new version of The Creature from the Black Lagoon, a film adaptation of a grizzly comic book, and a new film from the maker of WolfCop. We also examine a new Ghostbusters cartoon series and not one but TWO Halloween video games.
For our film reviews, we travel into the unknown with a couple of movies featuring monsters who are more than willing to rip your skin off. We discuss the Wendigo thriller Consumed, starring Devon Sawa, as well as Fede Álvarez's sci-fi horror Alien: Romulus.

Episode 240 - Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2/The Inheritance

It's a new day, yes it is. We're back with more buttery smooth Grave Plot goodness to coat your ear holes.
Let's get down to brass tacks with some Real World Horror about the "infamous" Mona Bruja, aka the Monkey Witch, who transforms into a rapscallious little creature who terrorizes a neighborhood by... walking on rooftops?
In Horror Business, we discuss a couple new programs coming to your television, namely a new version of "Scare Tactics" and the latest installment in the ever-expanding Dexter universe. We also take a look at a film based on a TV show based on a news article. We also examine a movie based on a video game and its updated cast list, and finally look forward to a slasher sequel.
For our film reviews, we try to stay alive long enough to cash in The Inheritance, and also revisit that silly old homicidal bear in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2.

Episode 239 - MaXXXine/Faceless After Dark

Namely, the young lead in a killer clown movie who finds out life imitates art a little too much sometimes in Faceless After Dark. We also discuss the conclusion of Ti West's X trilogy, featuring the next big thing in Hollyweird, MaXXXine.
Up first, however, is Horror Business. In Real World Horror, we talk about the sex crazed zombie cicadas on speed. You know the ones. Speaking of zombies, we reminisce about killing a whole mall full of them in the video game Dead Rising, and look forward to doing it all over again in a new digital remaster. We also take a look at a new Van Helsing TV series, a Valentine's Day slasher featuring the star of Idle Hands, and new takes on Bloody Mary and Peter Pan.

We're celebrating this time honored tradition with not one but two trips to Hamilton High for the 1980 slasher Prom Night, then try to avoid a supernatural prom queen out for revenge with Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II. And you thought the punch being spiked was the worst thing that could happen!
Along the way, we examine some elementary school evil spirits in Real World Horror, as well as discuss a new take on The Munsters, the expanded Jason Universe, and a new apocalyptic thriller from director Alexandre Aja in Horror Business. We also take a look at a new werewolf movie with a dreamy lead and talk about sinister monkeys.

Episode 235 - Late Night with the Devil/Founders Day

The boys are back in town and ready to get down so let's light this bottle rocket.
After we recap the events of this year's Crypticon Seattle, we take a trip down Mexico way to discuss a not-so-jolly rancher who found 17 of his animals killed by probably a chupacabra. Right? Definitely a chupacabra.
For Horror Business, we discuss a whole bunch of A24 news, like what's up with Crystal Lake? Also, a new film from a vintage duo as well as a new film from another not-so-vintage duo. We also talk about TWO new Evil Dead projects as well as our ol' pal Mike Flanagan tackling a classic.
For our film reviews, we celebrate Founders Day - once we figure out what it is - and try not to get our heads smashed by a bright red judge with a giant gavel. We then sit down in front of the TV to watch an old school talk show that devolves into a Late Night with the Devil.
So grab some popcorn and candy and a 54 ounce soda and enjoy the show!

In this episode, we head back to the U.S. of A. for Real World Horror, where we examine a woman who wanted her ex-husband dead and decided the best course of action was a mysterious "death spell."
In Horror Business, we discuss Neve Campbell returning to the Scream franchise, an I Know What You Did Last Summer legacy sequel, and a Quibi original becoming a full length feature film. We also scrutinize reboots of the... classic?... movies Little Shop of Horrors and Ghoulies.
Let's all go to the movies. For our film reviews, we give our thoughts on two new films. First up is Night Shift, about a young woman who joins the... night shift... at a creepy motel and begins to see things she can't explain. But the truth is even stranger. We follow that up by exploring Stopmotion, about an animator whose work begins to take over her life to confusing results.
